Mallaura

Mallaura.

The personality.

Monastrell, Garnatxa Tintorera, Cabernet, Tempranillo.

Pla de Mallaura

Aged 14 months in oak casks and a minimum of 12 months aging in bottle. Fermentation with autochthonous yeasts, long maceration, malolactic fermentation in 1st and 2nd year-old French oak casks.

A wine which expresses the estate’s own personality. A robust, frank, complex wine, plenty of nuances.
A clean, bright cherry colour with the red and ruby highlights from its long ageing in French oak barrels.

Penetrating, with a mellow, fine, well-balanced bouquet and no prominent points. When you move the glass, the wine emanates balsamic and brushwood aromas, together with touches of ripe fruit enveloped in the aromas of new wood that give it complexity.

It is clean on the palate and an ideal accompaniment for meals. The balsamic aromas and acidity leave a fresh, clean taste in the mouth, accompanied by a long, pleasant aftertaste that reminds you for several seconds of the sensation of the wine on your palate.

A warm, balanced wine with a mellow complexity.
